He conceptualized a differentiated Zero Trust IAM platform designed to bridge that divide—one shaped by real-world challenges and sharpened through insight from Bell Labs collaborators.

Kelly Coffin is the founder and CEO of Proximia, where he leads the design and development of advanced identity and access management solutions grounded in Zero Trust principles. Prior to founding Proximia, Kelly founded and served as CEO of WayFare Foods, an innovative food technology company where he led product development, manufacturing strategy, national distribution, and go-to-market execution—turning the startup into a nationally recognized brand and eventual acquisition.
Drawing on his background in engineering, Kelly designed several proprietary manufacturing systems that integrated mechanical, electrical, and software components, developing full SOPs and bringing novel food processing methods to market. It was during his time at WayFare that he first encountered the systemic gap between physical and digital security—especially in regulated, IoT-heavy environments like manufacturing and logistics.
Driven to solve this growing challenge, Kelly conceptualized a new kind of IAM platform—one that merges cyber and physical security. He assembled a high-caliber software engineering team to drive the development of Proximia Connect and the patent-pending XiFi™ platform.
With a background in engineering and a track record of entrepreneurial execution and strategic leadership, Kelly brings innovative thinking and operational discipline to Proximia’s mission: redefining how identity is secured in today’s connected world.

In mid-2023, Kelly partnered with Kevin Welch—a seasoned technologist and proven startup entrepreneur—to assemble a high-caliber team for platform strategy and technology development. By September 2023, that vision had accelerated into the development of a full-scale, enterprise-ready IAM platform, to meet clear demand in a fast-growing market.

He brings deep expertise in information systems and a diverse range of technologies, having led more than 40 mergers and acquisitions, two public offerings, a bankruptcy reorganization, and multiple corporate spin-offs.
In addition to serving as Chairman of Proximia® and AXCS®, Kevin is a senior advisor to Francisco Partners, RedSail Technologies, and Endeavour Capital. He previously founded Integra®, scaling it from early-stage development into a market leader before its acquisition and eventual integration into RedSail Technologies under private equity ownership. Prior to this, Kevin was president of Shared Healthcare System (sold to OmniCare), CTO of Sun Healthcare Systems (one of the largest public senior healthcare providers), Director of R&D of Symantec Corporation (SYMC), and a research scientist at Genetech (sold to Roche).
Kevin holds degrees in mathematics, computer science, operations research, and engineering management from Stanford University. Kevin merges executive leadership with technical expertise, with a strong focus on leveraging AI-native tools to accelerate the creation and deployment of modern technologies. Chip is a trusted technologist with deep expertise in cloud architecture, enterprise software, cybersecurity strategy, and digital transformation. With over 30 years spanning IT, operations, and enterprise systems, he has led complex, large-scale software initiatives across regulated industries. His leadership translates advanced technology into competitive advantage and operational efficiency—while ensuring rigorous compliance with frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, and other industry-specific regulations.
Prior to Proximia, Chip served as VP of Business Solutions and later as Digital Innovation Executive at Adventist Health, leading full-scale ERP modernization and launched enterprise-wide AI, robotic process automation (RPA), and cybersecurity and identity authentication frameworks. These efforts transformed operations across a $5B healthcare system, enforced HIPAA compliance, and strengthened enterprise governance.
Previously, as CxO at DEX, Chip directed software innovation, financial strategy, and operational leadership, delivering complex systems for Fortune 500 clients to manage global logistics, repair cycles, and inventory. As President of DEX, he oversaw the development and deployment of enterprise-grade supply chain software, ensuring SOC 2-aligned controls and secure system design for high-compliance environments. A former board member of Adventist Health, Chip brings board-level insight and governance acumen, as well as hands-on operational leadership across healthcare, manufacturing, and high tech.

Louie Foster is a hands-on engineer and platform strategist with over 20 years of experience developing and scaling enterprise-grade platforms. His core strengths span technical product management, systems architecture, API design, backlog management, and AI integration—skills he applies to defining functional specs, identifying system gaps, and driving complex features from concept through delivery across regulated, data-intensive environments.
As Executive Director of Product Management at RedSail Technologies, Louie led the design and delivery of next-generation software systems. The innovation was so far ahead of existing frameworks that it required collaboration with federal and state agencies to modernize policy—ultimately influencing regulatory change across 34 states and improving patient access to critical care. He successfully aligned market demands, customer needs, and corporate goals to strategically expand the product portfolio and capture additional revenue opportunities.
Earlier in his career, Louie redefined product strategy in the capital real estate sector by embedding AI and data intelligence into underwriting workflows and platform architecture. He streamlined sponsor-capital matching engines, improved data transparency, and accelerated deal cycles across complex investment networks.
Louie is known for bringing structure to ambiguity, translating technical vision into execution, and building product ecosystems that scale with business demands.

Pat excels in navigating the crossroads of innovation and strategic partnerships, propelling growth and seizing emerging opportunities. With a proven history of fostering impactful relationships, Pat's career reflects an unwavering commitment to guiding organizations to new heights of success. In 2019, Pat assumed the role of President at ProveID, a groundbreaking cyber and physical security product revolutionizing authentication. By 2024, ProveID seamlessly integrated into Proximia's advanced technology suite, appointing Pat as Vice President of Business Development, spearheading Proximia’s Partnership Program.
Before ProveID, Pat held the position of National Vice President at Century 21 Real Estate LLC. In this role, Pat played a key role in converting independent real estate companies to the C21 brand, overseeing the field servicing team with five regional vice presidents and leading a field team of 38 business consultants. Prior to Century 21, Pat served as the Managing Partner at COBS Homes, contributing significantly to business planning, capital development, and the launch of a national owner-builder services company. Pat's primary focus at COBS Homes centered on developing effective marketing and sales strategies.

Kevin is a seasoned financial leader with a proven track record of steering organizations towards fiscal excellence. With an extensive background in financial management and a keen eye for strategic planning, Kevin is a founding member of Proximia and has served as CFO since 2016. Prior to Proximia, Kevin held the role of CFO for WayFare Health Foods for over 15 years.
Kevin's experience includes strategic planning, forecasting, budgets, cash management, financial efficiency, financial statements and reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, management accounting and reporting, audit compliance, internal control implementation oversight and compliance, and contract review. Heavily focused in finance, Kevin also has relevant experience in human resources and employee benefit legal compliance and management. Kevin holds degrees in Accounting and Business Administration.

She leverages her expertise in brand development, market segmentation, campaign management, lead generation, and customer loyalty to drive exceptional results. Kirsten's career began in an agency setting, where she managed public relations for consumer Microsoft products, marketing for the Florida Keys Department of Transportation, and orchestration of large-scale city-wide events.
In 2007, Kirsten joined Integra, later acquired by RedSail Technologies, as their Director of Marketing. There, she oversaw all GTM strategy and execution. During her tenure at RedSail, she advanced to Senior Director of Marketing, where she oversaw RedSail’s corporate brand and selected divisional brands and product lines. Kirsten is recognized for her creativity, efficient processes, and a proven track record of goal alignment, transforming ideas into highly successful programs. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and International Business from Washington State University.
